As part of this partnership, Blocksport will release the official Team Thorrad Fan App, a one-stop destination for fans to engage with their favorite esport team like never before. This fan engagement platform will combine a sleek design with innovative features, providing users with real-time updates, exclusive content, and a personalized experience tailored to their preferences. Simultaneously, Blocksport will introduce fan tokens, Play-to-Earn games, and NFT collections in a unified Web3 ecosystem. Thorrad (previously known as First Raiders Eclipse) is an Indonesian Free Fire team. Thorrad has made a proud achievement as champion in the Free Fire Master League (FFML) Season 8 tournament. The Thorrad team managed to achieve victory in FFML Season 8 after leading the standings with a total of 117 points in the Grand Finals match which took place on October 8th 2023. With this victory, Thorrad is entitled to the main prize worth IDR 300 million from the total Grand Finals prize pool of IDR 700 million. Apart from that, Thorrad also made history as a team from Indonesia who confirmed themselves to appear in the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2023 Bangkok, together with POCO Star and RRQ Kazu.

About Team Thorrad

Thorrad started the Grand Finals match with an 8 point advantage that they obtained from the Semi Finals round. They performed impressively throughout the competition, managing to collect 109 points, including 55 points from elimination and 54 points from placement. Their performance in the Grand Finals showed extraordinary consistency, and they were able to stay away from RRQ Kazu, who was previously favored as the favorite team. RRQ Kazu had to settle for second place with a total of 93 points, 20 points behind Thorrad.
Thorrad’s victory was not completely surprising considering that they are a team that has quite valuable experience. The majority of their players have previously played for First Raiders (FR) Eclipse and FR Storm. They have shown several impressive performances in FFML. For example, in FFML Season 7, FR Eclipse managed to reach second place, only losing 1 point to Genesis Dogma SF who became champion.
Thorrad has an extraordinary performance, led by their IGL (In-Game Leader), Said “DarkoL” Khairiza, as well as other team members who have excellent skills. This was the first win for most of Thorrad’s players and management.
